Welcome to the
College of Education
at Kean University
Since its inception,
Kean University has been a forerunner
in teacher education in New Jersey. Today, Kean graduates are making a real
difference in the lives of young people both in the United States and abroad.
The College of Education has achieved national recognitions one of the 50
largest producers of teachers in the nation.
Since 1955, the College of Education has continued to earn accreditation by the
National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education. Notably, only
one-third of the schools that produce teachers in the United States and New
Jersey earn this certification.
